Agree with your thinking Bill ! My added concern is if there are already adult LMB and you add more LMB and miss too high on the numbers you could end up with a mostly LMB pond and only a few rare big BG. LMB have been known to wipe out all other species leaving an all LMB pond. That could be minimized by adding a few adult BG and harvesting a few LMB if the population swings to near 0 BG survival.
