Damn that sux, had no idea they could eat a fish that size, I have had some with some pretty good sized blue gill in them when I checked, but nothing that size.

I was fishing yesterday, caught a 9 inch crappie and this 2 lb Bass come tearing in after it as I was bringing it in, so I let him play with it for a minute, as Ive seen them many times follow another fish in to steal whatever they think the caught fish is going after, but this one was going after the actual catch, he grabbed the crappy head first and had it headed down its throat, and halfway up in the boat, two ft out of the water before he let go of it and dropped back into the water.

Couldn't get a camera on it tho, happened too fast, the wife was amazed, had never seen anything like that, me either.

All the really good ideas I've ever had came to me while I was milking a cow.

A long time ago I was catching BG on a fly rod. Same thing happened and I let the LMB swallow it. I DID catch the LMB. IIRC I had to cut the line, no way could I get my fly back without cutting open the bass, which I did that evening.
