A week ago our HOA lake was treated for FA algae and within 12 hours every single lily pad and spatterdock leaf showed signs of damage, after 24 hours the leaves turned a dark brown and within about 48 hours disintegrated. Thankfully the plants are still alive and are recovering, but I have never ever seen Cutrine or a similar Algaecide do that to our lily pads and I have seen them spray right into the plants before. After a lot of research I'm suspicious if they might have added Diquat to the Copper to create a synergistic mixture to combat the stubborn algae. Could this be correct?? Thanks.
