At the moment, I am dumping the algae in the woods over the hill and out of the watershed, so I can't drag the seine to the final resting spot. I don't really want to dry the mats on shore, as it takes forever and is unsightly. I subscribe to the "pick it up only once" theory, so raking the collection from shallow water straight on to the tow vehicle seems to work. I may change my mind as this job progresses, though!

The main advantage of the seine is more thorough collection and confinement of the algae. This, however, leads to more mass to get rid of! Ugh!
