I'm offering the trimmings from my recent pond lining adventure free to any North Texas PB Member with a pickup truck, willing to meet me at my farm at a mutually agreeable time. I would prefer one person take it all.

After my liner was installed the excess material outside the anchoring trench was trimmed off. I was surprised at how much I paid for that seemed to be excess. I had to buy a rectangular shaped liner to include my greatest width and length measurements. Some reshaping was done between ordering and delivery, but WOW could I have saved some money.
Anyway, my wife and I spread the leftover pieces out in a field and, using a surveyor's tape I determined the largest rectangular shapes that could be cut from each piece. Some pieces have quite a bit more material than listed in the rectangular dimensions below. Though the liner material is easy to cut with a box knife, I did not cut them. That's for the lucky DIY-er who gets them. Maybe you can get a greater yield from the irregular shapes than I could. I do not have the raw irregular dimensions.

The liner material is BTL-30S RPE (Reinforced Polyethylene). It is 30 mil thick and weighs .095 lb per sq.ft.

Piece # .... Dimensions ........ Weight (lbs)
1........ 32 ft x 36 ft ...... 110
2........ 16 ft x 28 ft ...... 43
3........ 33 ft x 12 ft ...... 38
4 ........ 18 ft x 16 ft....... 27
5........ 34 ft x 22 ft ...... 71

With some creative imagination and proper adhesive (maybe https://www.sailrite.com/HH-66-Vinyl-Cement-Gallon )
a useable liner should be within possibilities.

If you are a Pond Boss Member and are interested in this, send me a PM and we will work out the details. Pick up only. No shipping.
Thanks,
Dave Goyne

Thanks for posting that generous offer, Dave.

You obviously get the "spirit" of this place!

I hope a "congratulations" on your new pond is also correct?
