Pond Boss Forums STOCKING A NEW POND Types of fish to choose Hybrid Black Crappie vs Bass in new Pond

It would seem that SMB are going to be difficult to find after making some phone calls to fisheries. I would prefer to avoid babysitting my pond and having to constantly analyze the fish size, although I don't mind occasionally. I have enough other things in life to manage so a "set and forget" would be the most convenient. Although that may not be very realistic.

Based on where I am and what I have right now, it seems that the HSB may be the best option, as I could always add the SMB later if I decide to. Do I also need to add some crates to the pond if I go with that HSB vs the SMB?
