I don’t have a lot of pictures, but we have had a good number of visiting waterfowl in the last 2 weeks. Since April 3rd, we have seen mallards, Canadian geese, blue heron, migrating buffle heads, three kinds of mergansers (red-breasted, hooded, and common) and a double crested cormorant (which I scared off). It seems we must have gotten on their Google maps.
It is an uncommon year when a Bufflehead stops in here in early Spring, but we always enjoy seeing them.

It is usually just one, which we always name Barrington J. Bufflehead. smile
