Granular or liquid? I have seen that trying to spot treat more than about 10-15 percent of a pond with a herbicide typically doesn't turn out well, and it typically kills more weeds than what was expected.

What species of weeds were you treating, did you use liquid or granular, and was the wind blowing towards the area that you treated from across the pond or was it blowing from the treated area to the other side of the pond? How many acre feet of water did you treat at once?
