You can send it to Vertex for a rebuild and it costs $242 plus shipping. 844-432-4303 Since you know what part is broke, you might want to call them to see if they have a part to rebuild it. Typically the rebuild kits don't have the piston, just the sleeve and the "ring". They changed compressors in August 2013, so you have to determine the exact age of the compressor. Pre 8/13 compressors take a different rebuild kit. I have rebuild kits for the later ones, but no pistons. I *might* have an older compressor sitting here. Post the model number of the compressor and I can check it against the models that I have here.

Oh. I mis-understood. I thought the piston itself was cracked. I don't know of any way to get another cup without ordering the whole rebuild kit. Wait a minute. If you have the cylinder sleeve and a way to measure the sleeve in 0.001" I can match it up to some of the rebuild kits I have here. Post the dimensions if you have them.

You may be able to order a rebuild kit that is for a dual cylinder compressor for less $$ than ordering two single compressor rebuild kits. If you are careful, you should be able to re0use the silicone gasket. I can see if your dimensions match any of the dual cylinder kits I have here.

I MUCH prefer to rebuild the rotary vane compressors than the rocking piston types. MUCH easier and faster.

Good!

I am trying to put together a cross reference chart for the different compressors and different rebuild kits since there is none that is easily found on the internet. Mine will consist of some critical parts dimensions like sleeve ID/OD.
