We just observe and assess via hand feeding every day. We have a 54 acre lake and have 7 owners that feed different areas of the lake. We have a group email and we stay in touch through that. We use about 2000 pounds of feed per season, April Fools to Halloween. Warmer March temps in our area have us feeding now. We have used Cargill, Purina, Optimal/Endurance over the years, all with similar results. Primarily feeding CNBG, Redear, Green.
Nothing scientific just basic feeding fundamentals and observation... I know there is plenty of deep dive feeding research in other threads for those who need that information.
