If the LMB aren't feed trained from hatching, you probably won't see much feeding response from them. Typically with non-feed trained LMB I have seem approximately 10% self feed train. The remainder you just feed the BG which in turn will feed the LMB. Now you may be able to get some LMB eating BG fillets or BG that had the fins/tails removed. As they struggle to swim they are easy pickings for LMB. I could dangle a BG over the water with a rod/reel using a #10 hook barely under the skin near the tail, and the LMB that came looking at the BG when the feeder went off would jump out of the water to grab it. It took a few months to condition the LMB to do that. It started with just tossing a trimmed BG in the water when the LMB were there looking to pick off an unsuspecting BG.
