I've used it with all sizes (full-sized catfish pellets to "grower" aquamax) and it seems to work pretty consistently. But, no, I don't know how much comes out. If I had to guess it's about 1.5lbs for "1" second and maybe about .5lbs per second after that.
I use the feeder as a storage box, so I'm always pulling more from it when the fish are hungry and I'm there to help them out.
