The standard practice from Fisheries Science providers for addressing crowded LMB ponds in the south is to remove LMB (20 -30 lbs. per acre) and add 3-5 inch BG at a rate of between 500-1000 BG per acre depending on what the Electro survey shows. Many of those professionals don't act as hatcheries but source out what is needed. I would not assume that a pro who saw the survey and made an onsite analysis is wrong. Was the FS pro with a reputable organization?
