"IT DEPENDS"! ! !

Greg Grimes has for years stated that they have trouble establishing GSH in ponds with LMB. While I have seen GSH and some BG overpopulate to the extent that LMB did not spawn. Every pond environment and fish population is different. There is a huge spectrum of outcomes that are widely variable. The factors are many and include population status, stocking plan, mortality, water quality (productivity), latitude, source of GSH, feeding/non-feeding and others. IMO there is no certain rule or outcome to be expected. It just depends.
