No sir, not yet.

We started adding water about 4 weeks ago and it is about 45-50% full. We have had about 2.2 inches of rain during that time but the rest came from a well we put in.

Tried to add some pics but all my files are too large.

I have about 12 man made fish structures that should be permanent. I will add Christmas trees and other brush as we go.

I have added power at the pond edge (albeit on the shallow end) and want to install an aerator.

Obviously, I want to stock the pond and the first question would be - when is it safe to do so?

Bluegill, shell crackers and bass to start?

Bluegills in one season (spring or fall?) and then bass in the next season?

Any and ALL thoughts, advice and suggestions are appreciated!

I have about 2.5 acres of cleared ground around the pond and I had 8 tons of lime spread. Some went into the then empty pond, but I would say about 10% of that went into the pond area.

Up top is now planted in oats and clover - for appearance and for the deer.
