I'm in NE Texas. When I bought my property there was a 12' deep gully that was working its way back. I had to have a trackhoe and a dozer remove the trash the PO through in there trying to stop the erosion they push in and pack the new soil. I then had a concrete spillway built. Regarding large rip-rap rock it had to come out of Oklahoma because there was none in my area.
