Hello!
I am looking but have not found where anyone has discussed managing spillway height when factoring in dam settling.
I will be installing a bottom draw siphon spillway on my 5 acre lake where the primary water level will be determined by the siphon height. Say my 20 ft dam is going to settle 2 feet (90% compaction), will the height of my siphon:
A: Lower with the overall dam B: Hold elevation; raising its relative position in the dam C: Crack due to strain and/or cause dam failure
