Stock Redear in the pond. Look at around 500 per acre or more to help control the snails that are in there.
If the goal is big BG, then remove LMB that are 15"+. Do a jar test to see if the water color is due to turbidity, phytoplankton or a combination of both.
You can harvest some BG to eat too, it won't hurt anything.
