Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations Pond Color 2025

So, now i got algae controlled by reducing feedings and aerators. The color is killing me. The spring that feeds is gallons a minute is 2ft deep and crystal clear. The pond brown with maybe 8" visibility. See picture from this weekend and below a pic from august before i started messing with as my wife says. Stocking, feeding etc. The one from a couple Augusts ago had alga, but was still so clear.

Do i have too many fish? My bass are doing really well; BG are healthy but not in the plump range currently. Started really culling BG and bigger bass last couple times out. See some bass pics below and how some of bg have spots or blemishes. Again, Trophy BG are goal. So, yeah, i have to get rid of these fast growing LMB. They are eating feed and i catch them on small BG when reeling in often.
