You're welcome rlb3. Thank you for reminding me about the crappie. FWIW. I think all actions you have taken in terms of harvesting LMB is making a difference. IOWs the situation and average sizes of LMB would be different (lower weight and RW) than if you weren't making those efforts. Anything you do above those efforts (removing more of them) will contribute to LMB growth.

I have a few questions about the BG and the GSH. When you first moved there 5 years ago ... were there GSH in the pond? When did you notice the GSH were problematic as an overabundant species?

When there were good populations of BG, was the bloom as intense as it now? Did you have more weeds growing then?
