Ditto - if we can find the results of the study from Mr. Duffie it would help all of us understand how to battle nutrient load, phosphorous accumulation, and also figure out why weeks explode when there isn't phosphorous to blame as well.

P in water grows plankton/algae. P in the pond bottom grows vascular plants even if the P in the water is low. So, both water and sediment should be tested. Where the sunlight can reach the bottom of the pond, the plants will grow. (and most likely algae too).
