I haven’t done much with comparative shopping on prices but I did buy some MVP from the local coop. They don’t stock it per se but they did bring in 20 bags of MVP for me this year for much less than I could order it from TS.
Another option would be to find another pond owner thats close and sprit a pallet of food between you. I think the most popular brands I’ve seen on the forum are MVP, and endurance (previously Optimal). I’m sure that there are some that have used or are currently using one of the other quality brands as well.
One other thing to consider would be how well the fish can convert cheap food vs quality to flesh. If the cheap food just turns to fish poo…is it really better?
