Just remember this. Lusk sez that fish need groceries(prey) that is about 1/4 to;1/3 its size. A 5 pound bass would starve eating minnows. It’s a matter of energy expended vs calories obtained.
I’ve heard, probably from Lusk, that the best bass raiser is a bluegill farmer.
Feed the prey.
