Not sure if this helps in your forage counts, but in the 1.5 acre pond we stocked 50 LMB, and 100 YP total. YP would be both predator and prey. Again, no HSB were stocked. Our stocking was completed late May 2024.
Spring 2024 forage bump of 30lbs TP (mutts)
Fall forage bump 2024 provided the LMB 100 lbs of GSH and 600ish BG
Spring 2025 forage bump - none
Fall forage bump 2025 provided the LMB 50 lbs GSH, 600ish BG and a pending RBT delivery of 56lbs.
Planned Spring 2026 forage bump - TP (Mozambique) 30lbs
You have a higher head count for predators, and a larger body of water. We do share the goal of raising the “big boned ladies” in regards to the LMB.
