I don’t try to totally sink the cedars. I prefer them to be 6 to 7 ft tall. I’m butt deep in them. Some 8 ft.
I drag then about 6 to 7 ft from the dam. And place them with about 18 or so inches of slack. This allows them to float and also stay low in the water. Small bait fish stay there and the predators are never far away.,
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
