FYI this LMB was stocked at 10-12 inches (appx 9 mths old) and in 18 mths grew to 10 lbs. No small LMB stocked. 12 acres 197 LMB ( 47 Fla ,100 North and 50 F-1)- into a large base of BG/RES ,shad, and FH with supp feeding. Several mths later an extensive ES survey with DNA analysis was performed. There were a bunch of 5 lb LMB but not another one like this. Sample size was about 10%. Was this fish smarter, or lucky. There were other LMB with the same genetics. Growth is an enigma.
