We got a quick hard downpour yesterday and water is already standing in the bottom of the pond. It's funny, for the next week or so I am praying for no rain, then after that I want all the rain we can get haha.
I've got a hydroseed company coming next week to put seed on all the exposed dirt in the yard and about 3-4 feet into the pond banks. I ordered some Honey Hole brush, trees, and reeds from pondking.com. I'm picking up a BUNCH of concrete blocks next week to make rock piles. Also getting some wooden pallets from a friend. Headed to the ranch this weekend for bow season opener and will bring back some cedars to make brush piles. Things should start taking shape in the next couple weeks. I'll continue to post updates.
