Congratulations on breaking the 2# mark in just over a year. That's excellent growth.

I would not be surprised if you see an October spawn.

Mine were stocked June 2023 and they spawned the first time in October 2024. We caught some on crappie jigs and I caught 2 in a Z Trap.

I don't sample the LMB much, trying to save them for the Grandkids. Pond record is just over 16 inches and 2.38# 103%


I've also caught some of the new recruits while fishing for Sunfish with a 1/32 jig head and Crappie jig or Grasshopper.
12.6 inches 1.36# 132%

13 inches - 1.12# - 103%
10.6 inches - .74# - 126%

My pond is still 80 degrees.
