We all know that selective harvest of largemouth bass is one of the most important aspects for ponds. I would also contend that it is one of the best aspects as well because of the fried fish fillets.
That being said, is the fall harvest potentially the most important of all? Is there merit to this conversation or not really? I Google searched several articles that make a compelling point about fall harvest conditioning the pond for the winter months and then ultimately spring spawn.
