I have a small pond probably less than 1/4 acre, south Louisiana. About 6' deep right now, bought this place about 3 years ago. Stocked it with a few bass and catfish otherwise its loaded with decent sized green sunfish, snakes , turtles. I knoticed about a year ago i had about 4 baby catfish, this is before i stocked any.
Today im looking at my pond , recently added aeration to it. Anyway on the other side of the pond i see something submerged. Appeared to be 4ft long and very thick. I watched it thinking it was a log i hadnt noticed before but soon it swam a little and dissapeared. .
Wth is it? Either a gator, which i dont believe it is or maybe a flathead or blue cat. It was very large. Whats the chances of a cafish growing that large in a farm pond?
You guys ever see something in your pond that isnt suppose to be there?
