Yeah truth is fish were doing really well before the aerators but I had such bad algae in July. I started looking for solutions and when the aerators did not work I deduced, with the help of people on here, that I was overfeeding them this Summer. When I cut the food back algae disappeared. How much the aerators had to do with that I don't know but now that I have no algae I was hoping the aerators would oxygenate the pond better for the benefits that I've read about oxygenation in a pond. Problem is within 5 ft of the aerator that's in the deepest part of the pond I get zero reading past 8 ft deep
