Hello again Pondmeisters!

Crazy times.

Allow me to introduce Endurance Feeds! We are proud supporters of Pond Boss, and we specialize in manufacturing premium feeds for many pond species. All of our feeds can be ordered directly from our website at www.endurancefeeds.com. No minimum orders or hidden charges.

There are many good feed options out there, and we are happy to answer any questions you might have.

Oh, and we hear you on the big largemouth bass pellets. We're working on it;)

Our sincerest thank you to all our Pond Boss friends new and old.

It's good to be back!

Thanks for the update, and I'm glad things are getting back to normal.

Will the Hand Throws be available soon?

I just started feeding pond blend last week. The pellet size is smaller. It is mixed in size, much more than Optimal Blue Gill. I like the bigger pellets easier to throw and I have a lot of very big Bream. The fish are eating it but not like they did Optimal Blue gill. I wish they would offer it, with all having bigger pellets.

I just ordered a bag yesterday; I hope my fish like it. I wanted to order the 7mm, but it isn't in stock yet.

I received my bag of Professional Pond Blend 5mm yesterday and tried it out today. As LANGSTER said, it is a little smaller, seemed to have more shorter pieces. My fish didn't seem to care, they hit it pretty hard.

I have been feeding Endurance for about 3 weeks now. I am mixing the 5mm Bluegill with the 8mm round Bass. Seems my bluegill are consuming the 8mm round faster than the smaller pellets. All is good.

Thinking about next Spring. I can get small forage fish easily, then net raise them to 3-5 inches & release them into the pond.

Those that have experience with Optimal, Endurance & Aquamax:

Is Endurance an equal to Optimal?

Superior in Growth & Health for CNBG & Bass? Your choice if you could get all three? There was an article clearly showing the superiority of Optimal to Aquamax.

Endurance is made by the people that were at Optimal. Years ago Optimal was called in to a company that was raising Yellow Perch indoors for the fresh fish market. They were selling filleted fish, not whole fish. IIRC by switching to Optimal the company reduced the fish fat that ended up in the waste pile by 20%-30% and increased the fish flesh by approximately that amount. .

So in my mind, if that happened to fish that were 1-2 years old, what would that mean to fish in a pond that would be living for 5-10+ years? I'd think that it would add to their life span by reducing fatty livers, etc.

In my personal pond, when I switched from Aquamax to Optimal when Optimal first hit the market I say a large reduction in the amount of FA in my pond.

I am on my second bag of the 22mm Performance Bass Blend. Not sure about the Bass but my catfish love it. I enjoy throwing the big chunks by hand. Similar to the old Optimal Hand Throw. I am still using Purina Sportfish MVP but might be switching to the Performance Pond Blend.
