I'm thinking it may be a better plan for me to dig a trench and run electricity to the pond. I could certainly do that for much less than the electric company quoted me to bring power across the road, less than 150 yards.
Then I can plan for aeration and a well. My current well for cattle and backup for my house, is over 100 yards from the house and has a combination of overhead and buried electrical lines.
I also want to drill a well for supplemental water for the pond but that's a whole different conversation.
