Built the pond, and my wife saw the budget and gave me the stinkeye.
Stocked the fish, but then had to read 300 threads on Pond Boss to make sure I didn't make a mistake.
Suffered an extended drought and worried my pond depth was going to go to zero.
Got that picture with the grandkids ... priceless! My story too.  Those memories make that spend a whole lot easier to convince the wife we need more fish food.
