We had some neighbor kids come down this evening to do some fishing. They caught several BG.

My 7 year old Grandson caught this 5.90 pound CC on a 3 foot Kid Casters Spin cast Combo. It was stocked at 1-2 Inches in September 2022.

Those smiles say it all.

Built the pond, and my wife saw the budget and gave me the stinkeye.

Stocked the fish, but then had to read 300 threads on Pond Boss to make sure I didn't make a mistake.

Suffered an extended drought and worried my pond depth was going to go to zero.

Luckily my wife was on board with our pond, as it was an easy sell after pricing out both a stream in the pond garden (a little too ambitious) and a decent swimming pool. Pond was cheapest of the 3.

We’ve turned casting practice into a backyard competition using a rubber casting weight that matches the lure’s weight. I scatter paper plates and other targets around the yard, and the challenge is to see who can cast closest.
