My garden pond turned a color I have never seen before, a bright orange. I’m assuming it was red algae mixed with my normal poor clarity water. The koi fish didn’t seem to mind too much, but I think it killed the guppies. Seemed to be the result of high nutrient water and water temps near 90F.
It is now back to normal colors upon cooling down. It was a fairly unnatural look like chemicals.
