Good thread, a couple thoughts from a non expert...Feeding may be excessive. Use a better feed and throw less. LMB are probably not pellet feeding and you don't want to get GC started, they will never leave the feeder area...50 GC for 3.5 acres is a high ratio, in my experience.

Good info on the feeding. Frankly I have just been kind of figuring out the feeding with the new feeder. I bought a single bag while at Tractor Supply and feeding based on whether or not they can polish off the food in 10-15 mins. But, like you said, I have seen at least one GC darting around them. Also, at least 2 turtles are picking off pellets. The look like the Hungry Hippos game lol. As for the LMB, my son says he saw 3-4 bass hovering below the bream and picking off a few of them (I haven’t seen that though). No feeding on pellets.
