Well, a breeze picked up and blew it all against the dam. So we have been in the water all day yesterday and today. Water cooled off with the recent rain and marginally cooler temps. Now the little girls want it warmer. Ha!

Our water has cleared and cooled significantly. The orange algae didn’t get any worse, and possibly even a little less as our five day stay continued.

I did get the size of the dock doubled. Went from (2) of the 4x10 sections bolted together, to (4) of the 4x10 sections bolted together. I can’t get a pic to upload. Hopefully later. The fellow at the dock company (sold by Menards) told me not to put four sections together. I’m hoping it will work out. I switched the planking across the top to 1x6s 16’ long. That certainly seems to strengthen the structure.

12 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep.
RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (decreasing), SMB, and HSB (only two have been seen in 5 yrs)
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
