My thoughts on these two brands of feed is similar to my thoughts on what brand of tractor one should buy. The best brand of tractor for someone is one that is supported by a good, honest, local dealer willing to provide great service. For my family, that used to be brand #1, but the decent dealers for that brand were bought out by a corporation that apparently doesn't want to deal with anyone spending less than a half mill. So we switched to brand #2, sold by a great dealer who not only supports that brand as well as brands 3, 4, and 5 (that they also sell) but will also repair our brand #1 stuff. (When our brand 1 round baler went down three years ago 4 bales into a field, the brand 1 corp said they might be able to get us a mechanic in a couple of weeks. Our brand 2 dealer sent a mechanic in a couple of hours; the two of us had the problem fixed in about 45 minutes.)

I suspect Purina Aquamax and Endurance are pretty equivalent, and which brand makes the most sense for a pondmeister depends on their individual circumstances (mainly location). We have a Purina dealer just down the road that we are at just about every week (for cattle and horse feeds/supplements as well and hay and soil testing), so for me, Aquamax is a no brainer. YMMV, which is kinda my whole point.
