Does anyone feel like helping me figure out watershed? For some reason the maps are throwing me. I can calculate size if someone can just help with what all s actually in the watershed? I assume its the whole area to the south following the descending contours into the basin.

Backstory. I just purchased this land and there is an existing pond that is roughly 3 years old and about 3/5 of an acre when full. The area directly to the south of the pond is where the water really flows into it. I want to move the dam and make it 2+- acres the red line shows where I want to make the new dam. Either way I just want to know if the watershed can support the larger size. The current pond has been full the entire time I've been out there, but we've had an abnormally wet year this year in north central OK. Judging back historical satellite images it looks like it stays about 75-80% full most of the time but it is also extremely shallow on the entire south end.

Here is the proposed new pond design

Thank you whoever decides to help!

If you google "draftlogic area" there's an easy program that'll let you find an area. I've checked it with surveys, its accurate.

It's not just the area. It's the soil type, what kind of vegetation is on the watershed, etc. Go here, https://offices.sc.egov.usda.gov/lo...&stateName=Oklahoma&stateCode=40 find your local office and talk to them. They can do the calcs for you at no charge, and won't have to set foot on the property.
