I have a 1 acre 4’ max avg depth pond in middle Georgia. Right now as we head into July the water temp is 90 and morning DO reading is 4.6 and evening DO reading is 5.4.
I read this should consistently stay above 6.0.

This is my aerator.

I do have an aerator with two diffusers I’m getting setup on solar.
My plan is to run it every other hour around the clock. I think I’d run it consistently if my battery backup had more accommodation.
So first off is that a good schedule? What would be better?

Secondly at one end of the mostly oval roundish pond is about a 40x40’ or more large round island.
I have one diffuser in about 4’ of water between the island bank and shore bank and the other diffuser about 75’ off the bank of the island towards the larger part of the pond. I think I can add two more diffusers to this aerator.
Would that be a good idea?

Any tips to get this efficient as possible would be appreciated.

Thanks!
