I generally have stocked fatheads prior to stocking anything else. Then, at some later point, I introduce small bluegills. When the bluegills get to about 3 inches I stock the bass and cats.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
