Never been sure about that. I know my cats and bluegills wait for the feeder to go off.

I personally believe that bass success is directly related to the numbers and sizes of the bluegill prey.


Lusk once said that the best way to have big bass was to be concentrate on raising bluegills. A predator needs prey that is 1/4 to 1/3 it’s size. It’s a matter of energy expended vs calories obtained.
