Last years heavy rain the pond nearly filled. Depth 8 to 10 feet in sections. That weekend the final day of rain eroded the dam. The pond using a laser level at the runoff entry slope to the back side of a built up dam gave pond depth of 8 to 10 feet.
Since last year it maintains about 2-3 feet on top of all the crawfish holes. Thoughts are the spongy was under water aquifer and now after a year of rain it has settled . Not sure whats really going on
