Might need to be more specific, there's quite a few states that have a Huntsville township in them, I have lived in two myself. And both of those have huge difference in their soil characteristics. Unless of course Huntsville is a country I'm not aware of.
I am not understanding the whole scenario, is the dam failing with only 2 or 3 ft of water in it?
How deep is half depth, what was the original depth projection?
