I knew I had a large amount of fish feeding at the surface so decided to see what's going on below the surface.

I saw at least one LMB in the video, not sure if it was feeding or just looking for a smaller fish to eat. smile

Just goes to show there's a lot that we don't see going on below the surface. I started the video just before feeding so you have to watch for a bit before the fish appear.

Nice!
I have a 2500 gallon “koi” pond that I have put a few spotted bass in, after the koi passed. I have been recording their activities and am always amazed at what I see. I love the feeding shots when I dump a goldfish in. One time a 13 inch spot grabbed a 2” plus Goldie by the tail and was unable to swallow it that way. It carried it around for maybe 5min before it spit it out, grabbed it wrong again, spit it again and grabbed it head first and it was gone.
I also have footage of spawning activity where the male grabs his lady by the tail and directs her to where he wants her. I am always amazed at what happens underwater.
If I ever figure out how to upload videos, I will share that here.

Cool stuff, you won't be able to upload them here but you can upload to YouTube and paste a link.

I have an hour and 18 min oh nothing but spawning activity that I have not been able to break down into clips yet. I am going to run thru what I have, pick out what I find interesting and make a short video. I believe that the male brought two ladies to his bed, in the hour and had another the next day.
He had been guarding for 10 days before I had to leave for a two week fishing trip to MN and the sad part is I will miss the hatch, if it happens. We had some cold nights that dipped the temperature to 58 deg but he never left his duty. I should be back home before he abandons them and looks at them as lunch. The lil woman is feeding them 2 1/2” goldfish and night crawlers to keep them happy. Hope that works.
I should have something ready to view by mid June, hopefully with some fryball action.

Looking forward to seeing it.

I'll have to try that during the next spawning cycle.
