Anybody else feeding Aquamax Largemouth to Yellow Perch?

I haven’t had LMB capable of eating AQ LM for several years, but last year I got a bag of it by mistake (and opened it before I realized it). To try and utilize it, I started out by crushing the pellets into smaller pieces (and a disappointing amount of dust) and feeding that. But toward the end of good YP feeding (mine shut down taking feed when the water is warmest, and so far have not really picked back up in the Fall when it cools back down), I noticed larger YP could swallow the whole pellets that had missed getting smushed.

So I started feeding AQ LM pellets a couple at a time, until the biggest perch were full. Then I feed the smaller YP and the BGxRES their Aquamax 600. I am continuing this practice this Spring. YP that are about 10” long or bigger get proficient at eating whole pellets. Smaller YP and the bigger BGxRES can handle the partial pellets that are included.

Right now the YP are eating about a measuring cup and a half of AQ LM pellets a day. Am looking forward to seeing their growth after a whole Spring of consuming it.
