Hey everyone! I'm not really wanting to poison ants near the pond's edge, but WOW do I have a lot of them.

I hear ants don't like cinnamon. Maybe you could encourage them to find a better place to hang out...

I have fire ants. I “treated” the same mound for over 20 years. I quit.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I've heard that a hot mixture of malathion, generously sprayed three or four feet around the mound followed by a quart of the mixture injected into the mound at several locations, works pretty well. Do your research; if such would be an off-label application, don't do it.

5 gallon bucket with generous amount of dawn soap kills the crap out of them Also great for wasps
