Cecil, Just a quick thought on my part, would add some LMB predators to control the offspring of the spawning BG and continue on with the pond. Provided the LMB you add are not large enough to prey on your larger males your pond would still show significant growth. In your other available pond I would start the project over in it with a new supply of all male BG.
