I have a green ,maybe pea green, algae forming submerged mats. When running a stick thru it you don't really pull it out but more like running a stick thru paint, it just coats the stick. Should I take action to eliminate this or will it go away as water warms? I have no plants established to decrease the nutrients and have been concerned that any plants I add may themselves become a problem. The pond banks are fairly steep except in the upper end that 30 feet from shore is only 3 to 4 feet deep. Unable to attach picture and can't delete the attachment
